Virtual Assistant, Recruitment Support Specialist, General Administrative Staff, Data Entry Specialist, Data Quality Officer, Live Chat, Live Chat Operator
My name is Diohssane B. Capistrano. You can call me Sheyn. I am 29 years old. I am happily married and with two kids already.
I recently worked in the largest maternity hospital here in Manila, the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital. I initially worked there as an administrative assistant under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for five (5) years. I was in charge of the schedules of all Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the institution, both residents and consultants. I prepare their schedule in a spreadsheet then have it signed by the Department Chair and disseminate it to the other departments for reference of their availability. I was also the one reminding them about meetings and deadlines, assisting them with requirements especially for the Residency Training Program of our Medical Officers III or the resident doctors. I was also in charge of checking their daily time record, making sure they have time in and out and summarizing the monthly report of attendance. I was the one making Office Orders (sanctions of doctors for every complaint or case) and other communications, and send these through e-mail.
Then I applied as a Family Planning Nurse and got hired in the same institution in November 2022. I was initially in Triage, where I interviewed clients who need and want Family Planning service. I explain how forms are filled out, and I make sure that they fill it out completely and accurately. Then, I would encode these information in the spreadsheet and write these down as well in the designated logbook for checking during ISO certification. After Triage, I was transferred to the Family Planning Clinic, where I was assessing the clients whether their choice of family planning method is appropriate for them, then give them other options if not. I would then provide them the Family Planning service that they want once I identify that they are eligible for this method. Then I got transferred to the Operating Room, where aside from doing OR duties, I was also doing charting, making sure that all information in the chart are complete and accurate.
Before being in a healthcare setting, I was also part of the corporate world. I started as a Recruitment Support Specialist in an outsourcing company, where I interview candidates if they are qualified for the positions the client was looking for. We used different platforms like LinkedIn and Monster and used boolean searches. Then I was transferred and became a training specialist and a lead generation specialist. I was then looking for project managers interested to take our innovative trainings. I would then process their payment and e-mail them all the necessary documents for the training. At the same time, I got promoted to be the Account Manager, handling the teams under our company. I was the one attending calls with regard to the issues experienced by our agents and I would then discuss these with the client and find resolution.
Another opportunity came when I transferred to another BPO company, where I became a customer care representative, engaging with clients through e-mail and live chat about the RP Professional System. I then got promoted again to be a Data Quality Officer, still engaging with clients, but this time, making sure that the properties in Australia had their correct information as encoded in our system.
