I am Joshua and I haved worked as a PHP backend developer for a large ecommerce website that uses CS Cart. Main languages being used are PHP for backend and Javascript (JQuery) for DOM Manipulation. Amongst roles and responsibilities include implementation of different features and addons for the client, creating relational databases, optimising queries, and collaborating with frontend developers for superior quality of features I am working on. My recent work is on the enhancement of Google Maps implementation. Google Maps API provide distance matrix that includes travel hours and distance from one point. This enhancements includes cookie jar and saving past results to minimize requests and displaying results in much faster time. Another one is embedding AR into the online store of the client for better use experience. These implementations were done using Javascript. Also implemented Apple SignIn in the platform, using the API provided by Apply to authenticate the users. Although PHP is the current programming language I am using at work, I am also looking for opportunities where I can use my skills in using Javascrip in developing websites. I am also studying ReactJS in the past few months to widen my knowledege re JS and frontend technologies. I am always on the go and my love for logic, algorithm creation, and implementing it using different design patterns to make sure the program is of superior quality.
