I've been a Virtual Assistant for 5 years now, and I can say that it's been an amazing experience. When I first started my career as a VA, I was just looking for a way to make some extra money. And tried to enroll myself on a VA class, to be suitable for this job. My life wasn't going very well at the time, and I needed something to help me get out of the funk I was in. Luckily, my instructor knew exactly what I needed, a supportive environment where I could learn all about being a Virtual Assistant while also meeting other people who had similar goals and interests as me. This allowed me to grow as both an individual and part of a team at the same time! I know how it feels to be stuck in the same rut day after day with no idea how to get yourself out of it and I also know how much you can learn from these experiences. It takes time, but if you keep working hard, eventually things will change for the better. I've learned so much through this job, not just about helping other people with their problems (which is great!), but also about myself and my own skills. In turn, the more confident I become at my job, the more confident I feel in other parts of my life as well.
