My name is John Vincent Montecillo, and I’m at your service!
As early as 14 years old, I already took the liberty in exposing myself in taking part in sales agencies and working for commissions. I have a diversified background in sales; back then, I used to be a door-to-door salesman selling certain goods, such as vitamins and soap.
I improved my expertise when I got a job working for a Business Processing & Outsourcing company, where my main responsibility was customer retention. I did that for three years.
After that, I thought about expanding and exploring other skills like project management, customer service, google analytics/digital marketing, and teaching English. Despite being a native in the Philippines, my first language was English because of how my parents raised me so I am confident to say that my competence in verbal communication and writing with the language is above average than most Filipinos. This led me to be a part-time English tutor for Japanese children.
On top of that, I was also a full-time student studying Hotel & Restaurant Management where I experienced working for a hotel in two departments; the restaurant and the Front Office/Concierge.
My most recent employment was being a Product Developer/B2B Specialist for a publication. As a Product Developer, I improved existing services or added new ones; manage and create projects which are the services we needed to execute. As a B2B Specialist, I would cold-call bookstores and video production companies where I’d offer proposals in doing a partnership with us for long-term. Being in that job post for two years, I have generated and kept over 50 vendors for the company.
