Main Responsibility: Improvement of calibration system thru closely monitoring of measuring standards and equipments, jigs and providing plan and procedures to ensure that all calibration works are documented. Ensures that all measuring devices/equipments in KMP are properly calibrated that corresponds to its calibration date in compliance with the established instructions and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares calibration schedule for the whole year. Ensures that only calibrated machines/equipments are issued to inspection areas. Sources for local firms who will perform calibration of machines/equipments considering cost of service. Serves as liaison personnel between the company and the firm who performs calibration works. Prepares purchase request for tooling, spare parts, consumables and other related calibration items. Monitor the retrieval of measuring equipment and machine due for a calibration. Monitor the control of distribution of measuring equipments and standard masters through preparation and regular update of masterlist. Conducts close monitoring of machine tooling, spare parts and consumables through monthly inventory. Organizes and keep calibration records. Verify daily records of in-line checking of measuring equipments and machines to ensure that all equipment issued in production are in good condition. Immediately reports to the superior problems beyond his/her control. Standardizes work processes by preparing Procedures, Work Instructions and Standard Work Operations. Monitors the work technicians by providing plans and assistance to improve the quality of their work. Prepares Kaizen Report monthly which pertains to overproduction, transportation, movements, waiting times, manufacturing process, inventory, defective units and Safety KY. Maintains harmonious relationship within the group and with other sections. Maintains cleanliness of the work area at all times. Reports abnormality or non-conformity to immediate superior upon discovery. Ensures awareness of the relevance of his activities and contribution to the achievement of Quality, Environmental and Safety objectives. Actively participate in the implementation of health and safety programs. Consults and reports daily work activities to the immediate superior especially in cases of abnormalities and incidents. Leads MSA (Measurement System Analysis) team to analyze the variation present in each type of measurement
