I am 22 years old . I graduated Bachelor Science in Tourism Management .I recently worked in a hotel as a Front desk night audit at Melville Marriott New York. The hotel has 301 rooms and a Grand Ball for events . It is really a busy hotel since it is surrounded by different companies (Capital one,Canon,Leviton, Henry Schein etch) The work of night audit is to assist guest overnight and responding to guest request and complains. Do check ins and Check outs. Answering calls and do walk- in reservations . Aside from that doing all the reports that was left from day to night. Encoding all the sales of restaurants ,bar and events(weddings,birthdays,reunions etch.) . As a night auditor I also processes invoices and balance the cash drawer and log receipts. Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts in the system ,fixing errors and to keep accurate financial records and ledgers. Help prepare for forecasts and audits ( it’s like night audit is the secretary of every department in hotel) . After I finish all the reports like (Flash reports, Adjustment Log and RRA.). I email it to all managers and Prepare all the papers works so that in the morning when they go to work there are all set . Working at night is overwhelming but since I want to challenge myself and do the hard way in order for me to learn .I am person who really strives hard and very truthful in working . I was just a fresh graduate when I start my work. I am looking for a job right now that I can work from home . I want to explore and learn new experience. I believe that this company will help me to develop new skills and will broaden my knowledge. I am hoping they will give a chance a person like me who is much willing and very driven to work even I am new to the company .
