Jonah started her ballet training at the age of 17. She took Bachelor in Performing Arts Major in Dance at De La Salle – College of St. Benilde. She started her formal dancing career as a scholar in CCP Dance School in 2007. She was classically trained under the tutelage of Mr. Noordin Jumalon, Rhea Dumdum-Bautista, Naomi Tolome-Jaena, Carissa Adea and Candice Adea. She was also trained under Biag Gaongen in Contemporary and Modern Ballet. She had performed in CCP Dance School Productions such as “Up in the Sky, Under the Sea”, “Snow White” as one of the muses, and “Nutcracker” as one of the boys, soldiers, and snowflakes. She had also performed in the dance production thesis entitled as “LIVE! At Last!..” and Ms. Candice Adea and Mr. Jean Marc Cordero’s “The Pharaoh’s Daughter” at De La Salle - College of St. Benilde. Soon after, Jonah become a student in Symmetry Dance Studio in late 2010 and has been training under Miss Venus Basas and Rolby Lacaba in both Ballet and Jazz. She became a scholar in April 2011 and is now a faculty member of Symmetry Dance Studio.   Johnna also performed in different Corporate events, Concerts, and Art Festivals in Metro Manila with the Philippine Allstars for the past two years under Ms. Lema Diaz. She is also a member of the Dance Collective, it is a group of independent dance artists looking to collaborate with other artists to produce shows, projects, and other artistic endeavors.
