Hey there! My name is Ruth Capapas, I'm 31-year-old from Bataan, and for almost eight years now, I've been working in the BPO industry. In April 2022, I decided to explore a job that allowed me to work remotely. I started working as an answering service or virtual receptionist for small US companies. In this role, I was responsible for answering and making calls on behalf of the companies. Later, I was promoted to the position of dispatcher, where I was tasked with dispatching emergency calls to various establishments such as elevator companies, oil companies, nursing homes, rehab centers, and real estate establishments. It was a demanding role, but I found it fulfilling knowing that I was able to help connect people in need to the right services.
