Hello, I am Michelle Alforo Tabud. I am currently located in Iloilo City, Philippines. An Accountant with 7 years of experience in different industry Government(Department of Public Works and Highways), Academe ( University Junior Accounting Officer/ Teacher), Shared Services and Freelancer Bookkeeper. 3 years was with a Shared Service handling, at first, Invoice Processing. Tasks included were, Auditing/Encoding/Processing Invoices, Doing Tax Review: Sales Tax and Use Tax, Resolving Issues on invoices, Communicating with Vendor for Invoicing discrepancy, Leading the team for timely and accurate payments of LexisNexis Accounts Payable, Generating and interpreting related reports in PeopleSoft, Timely reporting of the team’s performance to the manager, Correcting Invoices in PeopleSoft, Attending Emails from Helpdesk regarding Business Units Requests/Inquiries, Contributed almost 40% of Process Improvements and System Enhancements, and as an ECMS Expert trained in Ohio, Train New Hires. Until I got promoted to handle Payment Processing. And, another promotion as Accounts Payable Helpdesk. My tasks were reconciliations of vendor’s account, Banking Tasks, doing Inbound and Outbound Phone/Email communications regarding any inquiry in Accounts payable 2 and a half years of my working experience is Working at home. I started July 2018 up to today. I am working as Bookkeeper for a Property Management Company doing Bill Entry, Receipt Entry, Pay Vendors, Process and Pay Management Fees, Process/Review and Pay Owners, Process Move Outs, Bank Reconciliations and Financial Diagnostics Issue Resolution. All of these are in Appfolio. I am also assigned to do random task in Quickbooks such as Bank Feeds entry and Bank Reconciliations. Until I got promoted as Supervisor to lead a team that does Re-evaluation of properties that the company has an option to buy. Re-evaluation meaning, checking the properties based on the pictures uploaded in Zillow/redFin. Based on the evaluation we made the company can have a just estimate on how much they would buy the property. Within the 2 years, I have also handled JobPac, MYOB, Xero and Simpro Accounts payable Module. Thank you!
